2024: 52-Week Film Photography Project

In parallel with my 2024 daily 366 photography project, I also completed a 52-week film photography project where I took at least one photograph on film each week. Sharing these on Glass was delayed because it took me a while to develop, scan, and edit the film.
It was fun to make sure to use my film cameras while also working on the daily digital photography project in 2024, but it was a bit much at times to have two projects happening at the same time.
I did miss one week early in the film photography project (Week 8) and decided to not make up the missing week and just acknowledge the imperfections of life.

2024 started on a Monday and I did this project every week of the year (with weeks running from Monday-Sunday). This resulted in there being a Monday and Tuesday for the “53rd week” of the year (30-31 December 2024). This gave me a bonus photograph for the year. So, from a certain point of view, I guess I did kind of make up the missed photograph from Week 8.
I decided to only use Kodak Tri-X 400 for this project. The cameras I used in the project were:
- Nikon F2AS
- Hasselblad 500 C/M
- Ondu 6x6 Rise Pinhole
- Rollei 35
